
The BEST Peanut Butter cookies you’ll ever make! These cookies are crisp on the edges and chewy in the center and topped with flaked sea salt that just seals the deal!
You will love these peanut butter cookies not only because they tastes great, but they are so quick and easy to make! (Usually I can put them together before the oven even heats up!) There aren’t many ingredients and most of which you probably already have in the kitchen. You could also make this cookie your own by adding in some extra bits (cue the flaked sea salt from me.) My husband argues to put chocolate chips in everything, but you could also try chopped up peanuts, m&m’s or maybe even swirl in some jelly?? I haven’t tried it, but now I think I’m going to!
PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
The best chewy and soft Peanut Butter cookies topped with flaked sea salt.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sal
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- flaked sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in large bowl.
- In a stand mixer, beat peanut butter, butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla
- Slowly add in the flour mixture on low speed. Stir until dough forms
- Using a large cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto parchment paper covered cookie sheet.
- Bake 10-12 min. or until edges are slightly browned. Remove from oven and sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
