
SOFT AND FLUFFY DINNER ROLLS
The most buttery, soft and fluffy Dinner Rolls you’ll ever have! Easy to make and your rolls will be ready for dinner in just about an hour!
Ingredients
- 1 envelope Active Dried Yeast
- 1/2 cup Water, room temperature
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 tablespoons Butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 4 cups Flour
- 1/2 tablespoon Salt
FOR BRUSHING
- 1 Egg, for egg wash
- Melted Butter to brush on the hot rolls
Instructions
- Whisk the yeast into the warm water in a small bowl, set aside until bubbles appear
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter and sugar. Add yeast mixture and whisk until combined.
- Add the flour and salt to mixer. Add the milk mixture, then mix on medium-low speed for 5-6 min.
- Cover the bowl with Saran Wrap and put in warm place for 1 hour.
- Punch down, divide into 12 pieces and shape into balls. Place in greased 9×11 inch pan. Cover and let rise at room temperature until big and puffed up, 20-30 min.
- Set oven to 375°. Beat the egg and brush on top of the rolls. Bake for 20 minutes or until done.
- Brush with additional melted butter right as they come out of the oven, if you like.
